Where do I find the grant application form?
Interested groups and/or organizations can print off a grant application by downloading an application form from www.cfsv.ca/forms
Who is eligible to receive grants?
The Grants are available to eligible charities, not for profit groups, and non-profit groups whose projects address significant community needs and are intended to improve the overall quality of life for everyone in our community.
Projects must be located in or be of direct benefit to the citizens of Municipalities of Swan Valley West, Minitonas-Bowsman and Mountain and the Town of Swan River as well as communities within their boundaries.
What information do I need to apply?
– Summary of your project including a budget
– Summary of the projects charitable purpose
– Charitable registration number (if you do not have one, please contact the office for assistance.)
– Signatures by 2 of your organization’s signing officers.
– *Project requests over $10,000 will also need to provide two quotes, and a current financial statement.
Where can I see past funded projects?
Past projects are listed on our website www.cfsv.ca/donor-listing
Can an organization and/or group apply more than once?
Only one application per organization per project per twelve-month calendar period (Jan-Dec) will be approved. Organizations may apply up to two times for the same project but in two calendar years.
When is the deadline?
The deadline for the Spring Grant Intake is Friday, March 3, 2023 at 5:00pm.
Where do I apply?
Completed applications can be dropped off at the Community Foundation office at 1500 Main St. E. (Chamber of Commerce Building), please call 204-734-9129 in advance for office schedule.
Applications can also be emailed to cfswanvalley@gmail.com. Please ensure that all requested and relevant information is included. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
