Last month the Community Foundation of Swan Valley (CFSV) held their 5th Annual Spring Grant presentation and information night at the Swan Valley Museum Hall. The audience was greeted with a special performance by the talented Benito Vesselli Dance Club.
A total of $65,400 in grants were awarded to local community projects along with an additional $2,500 granted by the SVRSS Youth in Philanthropy (YIP) group.
Since its inception in 2005, the CFSV has reached over $4 million in donations, providing a never-ending source of income for projects in the community. The original donations remain untouched, and the interest earned is used to support local charities.
The CFSV announced their Drive for 5 campaign, with the focus to achieve a remarkable milestone of 5 million in donations. Your support can help fuel community projects, scholarships, and initiatives that make Swan Valley a better place for everyone. Whether you’re a longtime supporter of the CFSV or a new face, your contribution, no matter the size, propels the community towards a brighter future.
Thank you to everyone who attended this years Spring Grant Night. The CFSV is proud to continue to support community projects that help leave a lasting legacy in the Swan Valley.
